Interesting points. Actually I would add that I see that we are steering on convergence, but wireless in general will take a lot longer than expected (in North America). Currently land lines are still relatively cheap compared to mobile phone rates (in North America).
As for privacy, I believe we (North America) are becoming more or less like the Europeans and opening our lives (not necessarily by choice) to the government. It is a natural state in the current geo-political climate.
My interest as of late has been in addressing this issue and fighting identity theft and fraud. I am looking at various solutions that can be used in a packaged format.
BTW, I met with your BD folks David L. and his manager while I was at VeriSign. Netscreen appears to be a pretty good company.
I would be definitely be interested in your (or anyone's) comments on the grid networking and P2P trends.
